Gravity Photographers are all about capturing a moment in time to create a lasting memory of an event! Armed with top of the line gear and kick-ass skills a Gravity Photographer is ready to capture every aspect of an event or function. We are looking for people who have a passion for photography and people. This is a casual role that involves photographing and editing all kinds of events.


We are looking for new casual Photographer’s to join the Gravity crew for 2022. We capture a wide range of functions including school balls, after parties, Weddings, 21sts, Student functions & we cover the South Island.

Purpose.

 
  • Our casual Gravity Photographers provide an excellent experience for a huge variety of events. This includes capturing all aspects of the events and giving a great customer experience.

 

JOB OVERVIEW.

  • Photographing a wide range of events (School Balls & Formals, Uni events, theatre shows, corporate events, graduation shoots, 21st and everything in between)

  • You will be required to do a range of shooting including backdrop photography & roaming photography.

  • Editing and post production of photos from events

  • You will also be required to help out with our Photobooths and give the #gravitybooth experience

  • Assisting our team with the set up and packdown of equipment for events (Photography backdrops, photobooths, sound & lighting, theming equipment etc.)

  • Work as part of an awesome team to deliver great events

  • Availability to work Friday/Saturday evenings is essential (Please note: Travel outside Dunedin may be required)

 
  • Must have previous photography experience and an understanding of camera basics (ISO, Shutter speed, Aperture, White balance etc)

  • Previous experience with photographing people or events is ideal 

  • Familiarity with Adobe Lightroom & Photoshop would be an advantage
