Event DJ

We are looking for someone who has a passion for music & people. This is a casual role that involves entertaining a crowd and playing music that gets the party started. We offer our DJ services at a wide range of functions including school balls, after parties, Weddings, 21st parties, Student functions & we cover the South Island.
Purpose.
Djing a wide range of events
Assisting our team with the set-up and pack-down of equipment for events (Photography backdrops, photo booths, sound & lighting, theming equipment, etc.)
Work as part of an awesome team to deliver great events
Access to industry-standard Pioneer DJ equipment
Opportunity to learn & play with a huge range of DJ, sound & lighting equipment in the workshop
Our casual DJs provide an excellent experience for a huge variety of events. This includes playing to the crowd and giving a great customer experience. You will be mainly working with top-40 genres and classic throwback party hits! A Gravity DJ canbring the good tunes and create an unforgettable experience on the dance floor!

Availability to work Friday/Saturday evenings is essential (Please note: Travel outside Dunedin may be required)
Pre Requisits.
Previous DJ'ing experience is an advantage, but being a team player with a positive attitude, high energy, and willingness to learn is the most important
A wide range of musical knowledge is important for playing to crowds and age groups of all types.
Must have a laptop suitable for running Serato DJ or Rekordbox
Full Class 1 License & ability to drive manual is preferred
